About Medusa Mag

Founder K.Pemberton began writing at the tender age of 6; in an attempt to understand the invasion of her thoughts and dispositions. She didn't yet know that it would be the only company that was guaranteed the stay. By the time she reached adulthood, she was sure she was fascinated with the mind and how it worked, or the lack thereof. That passion lead her to her studies at Trundy Institute of mental health and substance abuse counseling, then graduating in 2016.

Today, she supervises a co-ed behavioral state program by night and manages a private homeschool location by day, while holding her Reiki and sound healing certification.

Educating the youth and writing is her passion. She has focused on role modeling towards the youth, dating back to her first opportunity with The boys & girls club back to 2005, where she held a poetry of emotions group for young girls. Since then, there has been a journey of self-discovery through those that she has been blessed to aid. She wanted to create a space that felt safe, a place where all could learn about the deeper meaning of it all. Her hope is to create a platform that will thrive with the help of those who resonate with love, growth, and pain. "For without embracing the harsh realities, we have no willingness to learn".
